UP Police SI Recruitment 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is soon expected to release the official notification for the recruitment of multiple Group-B level posts in the UP Police Department.

• Sub Inspector (SI) – Civil Police (Male/Female)

• Platoon Commander – PAC (Male)

• Fire Service Second Officer (Male)

In the year 2025, a total of 921 vacancies were announced for the above posts combined.

UPPRPB UP Police Recruitment 2025: Overview

 

Candidates will be selected through the following three stages:

1. Online Written Examination (CBT)

2. Documentation & Physical Standard Test (PST)

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• The exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

• The question paper will be bilingual: in Hindi and English.

• There will be a total of 160 questions, carrying 2.5 marks each, making a total of 400 marks.

• The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes (2 hours).

• There is no negative marking in the exam.

Note:
 There would be 2.5 marks for each question.

 UP Police SI: Physical Standard Test (PST)

• The weight of female candidates should be at least 40 kg.

• Male candidates must have their chest measurements as per the required standards (with a minimum expansion of 5 cm).

• All candidates must meet the minimum height and chest (for males) requirements as specified for their respective categories.

• Failing to meet any of the physical standards will result in disqualification from the selection process.

   UP Police SI: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

 Race:
 Male candidates must cover 4.8 km within 28 minutes &
 Female candidates must cover 2.4 km within 16 minutes.
