COMMON RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR RECRUITMENT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATES IN PARTICIPATING BANKS
The Online Examination (Preliminary and Main) for the upcoming Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment and Selection of Personnel for Customer Service Associate Post in the Participating Banks will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as per the tentative schedule provided below.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Online Preliminary and Online Main Examination)
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks
assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that
question.
MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.
Scores obtained in the Online Examination
- The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equi-percentile method.
- Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.
Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
- The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/UT, should be proficient in (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) the specified / opted local language of that State/UT (mentioned in the list provided for each Sate/ UT as per Annexure III).
- Candidate has to opt for ONE language at the time of online application for local language test from the list provided for each State/ UT as per Annexure III.
- Candidates who produce 10th standard or above mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified/ opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.
- The test will be conducted after qualifying the Online Main examination/ Provisional Allotment but before joining the Bank.
- The test for knowledge of specified/ opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process by an independent body or by the Bank and will be marks based and qualifying in nature.
- Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be offered appointment and will be disqualified from the process.
How To Apply
Procedure for applying online
(1) Candidates are first required to go to the official IBPS website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “CRP CSA” and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- Customer Service Associates (CRP-CSA-XV)” to open the Online Application Form.
(2) Candidates will have to click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form. After that a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed.
(3) Candidates are required to upload their: - Photograph - Signature - Left Thumb Impression - A handwritten declaration - Certificate as mentioned in Clause K (ix) - (if applicable) - SSC/ SSLC/ 10th Standard or Equivalent Certificate - Candidates will also be required to capture and upload their photograph through webcam or mobile phone during registration process. as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of documents (Annexure IV) in the detailed notification.
(4) Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application form will be possible/ entertained. Prior to submission of the online application form candidates are
advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on COMPLETE REGISTRATION Button. Visually Impaired candidates are responsible for carefully verifying/ getting the details filled in, in the online application form properly verified and ensuring that the same are correct prior to submission as no change is possible after submission.
(5) The candidate should indicate in the online application form the state to which he/she opts for provisional allotment on selection. The option once exercised will be irrevocable.
(6) Digi Locker has been integrated with the online application form. The candidate may provide access to issued credentials/documents (Aadhaar, Educational Qualification Documents etc.) and information (Name, Date of Birth, Gender etc.) through Digi Locker on voluntary basis.
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges shall be as follows:
Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/ DESM candidates.
Rs. 850 /- (inclusive of GST) for all others
Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.
Mode of Payment
Candidates can make the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only. Candidates must keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges.
After completing the procedure of applying online including payment of fees / intimation charges, the candidate should take a printout of the system generated online application form, ensure the particulars filled in are accurate and retain it along with Registration Number and Password for future reference. They should not send this printout to the IBPS/ Banks.
Please note that the particulars mentioned in the online application for ’Name’, ‘Email ID’, ‘Mobile Number’, ‘State/UT’ Field in vacancy, ‘State/UT’ field in correspondence address and Permanent Address, ‘Post’, and ‘Nationality’ fields cannot be edited and will be considered as final and no change/modification/correction will be allowed after submission of the online application form.
Candidates are hence advised to fill in the online application form with the utmost care as no correspondence regarding change/modification/correction of any details will be entertained. IBPS will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of furnishing of incorrect and incomplete details in the online application form or omission to provide the required details in the online application form.

IBPS Clerk Job Profile 2025
- To update the bank passbook of your customers as per requests.
- A bank clerk is also responsible for managing bank cash and various documents of the bank, keys etc.
- You need to verify the documents and statements submitted by the customers in your bank.
- Responsible for sanctioning the cash withdrawals of the customer, Issuing of Demand Drafts (DDs), cash receipts, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining various documents like bank balance sheet, ledger, etc.
- Regularly providing information on various government schemes and resolving the issues of the customers in polite manner.
- Responsible for attending the treasury works, deposition of cash and other miscellaneous work
Eligibility Criteria
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of
permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and
Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a
person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age (As on 01.08.2026):
Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years
i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2005 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications (As on 21.08.2026):
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/UT, should be proficient in (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) the specified / opted local language of that State/UT (mentioned in the list provided for each Sate/ UT as per Annexure III). May kindly refer to clause ‘H’ (Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)) for further details.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Ex-Servicemen who do not possess the above civil examination qualifications should be matriculate Ex-Servicemen who have obtained the Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union as on 21.08.2025. Such certificates should be dated on or before 21.08.2025.

Candidates must keep checking the official updates regarding the IBPS Clerk 2025 examination and download their IBPS Clerk Admit Card from the official website of IBPS, as no hard copy of the admit card will be sent via post.
To log in to the official website and download the admit card, candidates will be required to have the following credentials:
