RBI Attendant 2021 Exam

Introduction

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has recently released the official notification for recruitment for the posts of "Office Attendants" on its official website. As per the notification, 841 vacant posts of "Office Attendant" in various offices of the RBI banks will be filled in this recruitment drive. A nationwide competitive test will be conducted by RBI which will be then followed by a language proficiency test for selecting the eligible candidates for these posts. Candidates may apply online from 24th February 2021 to 15th March 2021.

Exam Pattern

RBI Office Attendant Exam Pattern 2021

The RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2021 will have objective-type questions which will be asked from Reasoning, General English, General Awareness, and Numerical Ability sections. A total of 120 questions will be divided equally among all these four sections.

Guidelines for Uploading Documents in RBI Office Attendant Application Form

The guidelines for scanning and uploading documents of the RBI Office Attendant 2021 examinations are tabulated below.

RBI Attendant Salary 2021

RBI Attendant 2021 Pay Scale

RBI Attendants shall get a pay scale of 10940 – 380 (4) – 12460 – 440 (3) – 13780 – 520 (3) – 15340 – 690 (2) – 16720 – 860 (4) – 20160 – 1180 (1) – 23700. That means, selected candidates will be getting a basic pay of ₹ 10,940/– per month apart from other allowances, viz. City Compensatory Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance etc., as per their eligibility on a timely basis.

Presently, the initial monthly Gross emoluments for the post of "Office Attendants" is approximately around ₹ 26,508/-

RBI Attendant 2021 Job Profile

The job profile for candidates selected as RBI office attendant will be similar to class-4 government employees.

As an office attendant you will be required to help/assist other officers of RBI in performing their day-to-day duties. You will be required to keep files in an orderly and organized way.

You may also have to pass/distribute the official documents physically among various departments.

You will be required to maintain a report of all the basic leaves of Officers and at their desk, making entries of the letter/incoming document from another office.

RBI Office Attendant 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

The applicant must have passed 10th level (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT which comes under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office under which he/she is applying. The qualification must be from a recognized board of that State/UT.

In addition to the above, the candidate should be a domicile of the State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruitment Office to which he/she is applying for.

Age Limit (as on 01/02/2021)

The Applicant’s age must lie between 18 and 25 years. That means a candidate must not have been born earlier than 02/02/1996 and not later than 01/02/2003 (both days inclusive). Only these candidates would be deemed eligible to apply for the post of Office Attendants in Reserve Bank of India.
