 The notification for the post of Officer scale-1 has been released by GIC (General Insurance Corporation of India) for the cadre Assistant Manager  for filling a total of annouced soon /strong>. Examination Center

 • The examination will be conducted online strictly at the given venues as mentioned on the respective call letters of candidates.
 • No request for the change of centre/venue/date/session for the Examination shall be entertained after final submit of the Application form.
 • The Corporation reserves the right to cancel/modify any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, at its sole discretion, depending upon the response/administrative feasibility, etc.
 • The Corporation also reserves its right to allot the candidate any centre other than the one he/she has opted for without any notice/monetary compensation.
 • Candidate needs to appear for the examination at an Examination Centre at his/her owns risks and expenses and Corporation will not be  responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.

 As per the latest notification, a total of 44 vacancies is released for the GIC Assistant Manager Recruitment 2021. The stream-wise vacancies are  tabulated below:

 Emoluments and Benefits
 a. The Basic Pay for GIC Assistant Manager would be Rs.32,795/- per month on the scale of Rs.32795 -1610(14) – 55335 -1745(4) - 62315 along with other admissible allowances like DA, HRA, CCA, etc.
 b. The total emoluments would be around Rs. 65,000/-p.m. plus other benefits viz. New Pension Scheme and Newspaper /Internet Allowance, Household Help Allowance, Sodexo, Personal Accident cover, housing, vehicle and computer loans with subsidized interests, Leave Travel Subsidy, Medical Benefits, House Furnishing Allowance and interest free advances for festival, natural calamities, and any other benefits as per rules and on confirmation of service in the Corporation.
 c. The GIC level I officers are also entitled to Corporation’s / leased accommodation as per norms.
 d. The present lease accommodation at Mumbai is Rs.30,000/- per month.

 GIC Assistant Manager Job Profile/Posting:
 Selected candidates shall be governed by the terms and conditions of service as per the applicability in GIC (General Insurance Corporation of  India) from time to time. The Posts shall remain permanent, and the selected candidates shall be posted at Mumbai Location only or could be  transferred to any place in India and/or abroad, as deemed necessary by the board.
 Note: The initial posting of the selected candidates will be in its corporate office in Mumbai only.

 GIC Assistant Manager Recruitment : Eligibility Criteria

 Nationality
 The candidate must be either:
 A Citizen of India,
 A Subject of Nepal,
 A Subject of Bhutan,  Tibetan Refugee,
 or A person of Indian origin who had migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of
 Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of settling in India permanently.

 Age Limit
 Minimum Age: 21 Years, Maximum Age: 30 Years
 The candidate should have been born not earlier than 02-02-1991 and not later than 01-02-2000 both days inclusive. Age relaxation is applicable  as per rules.
