29 सितंबर 2026 को केंद्रीय पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री भूपेंद्र यादव ने भारतीय वन एवं लकड़ी प्रमाणन योजना (Indian Forest and Wood Certification Scheme–IFWCS) के तहत देश के पहले PRAMAAN प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किए। इनमें आंध्र प्रदेश फॉरेस्ट डेवलपमेंट कॉरपोरेशन (APFDC) भी शामिल था।

PRAMAAN वनों, लकड़ी और गैर-काष्ठ वन उत्पादों के प्रमाणन के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय स्तर का ढांचा है। इसका उद्देश्य प्रमाणित वन एवं कृषि-वनीकरण उत्पादों को घरेलू और अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारों से जोड़ना तथा सतत वन प्रबंधन को बढ़ावा देना है। APFDC की प्रमाणित प्लांटेशन लगभग 33,000 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में फैली है। प्रमाणन प्रक्रिया में स्वतंत्र ऑडिट और मान्यता प्राप्त प्रमाणन निकायों की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण है।

It aims to strengthen the linkage between certified forest and agroforestry products and domestic as well as international markets. APFDC's certified plantations cover about 33,000 hectares. Independent audits and accredited certification bodies form an important part of the certification process.
