1. The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully demonstrated the Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet (SFDR) technology from Chandipur, Odisha, a crucial technology for long-range air-to-air missiles. All major subsystems, including the nozzle-less booster, performed as expected according to the flight data. This makes India one of the select few countries to possess this technology, giving it an edge in aerial combat scenarios. Unlike conventional rockets, the SFDR does not carry an oxidizer; it draws oxygen from the atmosphere to burn its fuel, resulting in a lighter missile with a longer range.

 रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन (DRDO) ने ओडिशा के चांदीपुर से सॉलिड फ्यूल डक्टेड रैमजेट (SFDR) तकनीक का प्रदर्शन किया, जो लंबी दूरी की वायु-से-वायु मिसाइलों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। नोजल-रहित बूस्टर सहित सभी प्रमुख उपप्रणालियों ने उड़ान डेटा के अनुसार अपेक्षा के अनुरूप प्रदर्शन किया। इससे भारत उन चुनिंदा देशों में शामिल हो गया है जिनके पास यह तकनीक है, जिससे हवाई युद्ध परिदृश्यों में भारत को बढ़त मिलती है। पारंपरिक रॉकेट के विपरीत, SFDR ऑक्सीडाइज़र साथ नहीं ले जाता; यह वायुमंडल से ऑक्सीजन लेकर ईंधन जलाता है, जिससे मिसाइल का वजन कम और रेंज अधिक हो जाती है।

2.  Walmart has reached a market capitalization of $1 trillion after a massive 26% surge in its stock price over the past year, becoming the first retail company in the world to achieve this milestone. With this achievement, Walmart joins a select group of technology companies (Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidia, etc.) valued at over $1 trillion. Walmart's stock has outperformed the S&P 500 over the past decade, with its shares rising 468% compared to a 264% increase in the index.

 वॉलमार्ट ने पिछले एक साल में शेयरों में 26% की भारी वृद्धि के बाद 1 ट्रिलियन डॉलर के मार्केट कैप का आंकड़ा छू लिया है, ऐसा करने वाली यह विश्व की पहली रिटेल कंपनी है। इस उपलब्धि के साथ वॉलमार्ट उन चयनित तकनीकी कंपनियों (एप्पल, माइक्रोसॉफ्ट, अमेज़न, एनवीडिया आदि) के समूह में शामिल हो गई है, जिनका मूल्य 1 ट्रिलियन डॉलर से अधिक है। वॉलमार्ट के शेयरों ने पिछले दशक में S&P 500 से बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया है, इसके शेयरों में 468% की वृद्धि हुई है जबकि इंडेक्स में 264% की वृद्धि हुई है।

 3. The World Government Summit is held annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The World Government Summit 2026 kicked off in Dubai with the theme "Shaping Future Governments," attracting over 6,250 participants from more than 150 countries. It features 445 sessions and over 450 speakers, including 60 heads of state, 500 ministers, 87 Nobel laureates, and global CEOs. The main objective of the summit is to create resilient, inclusive, and future-ready governments by leveraging innovation, sustainability, and technology.

 विश्व सरकार शिखर सम्मेलन प्रतिवर्ष दुबई (संयुक्त अरब अमीरात) में आयोजित किया जाता है। विश्व सरकार शिखर सम्मेलन 2026 का शुभारंभ दुबई में 'शेपिंग फ्यूचर गवर्नमेंट्स' विषय के साथ हुआ, जिसमें 150 से अधिक देशों के 6,250 से अधिक प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। इसमें 445 सत्र और 450 से अधिक वक्ता शामिल हैं, जिनमें 60 राष्ट्राध्यक्ष, 500 मंत्री, 87 नोबेल पुरस्कार विजेता और वैश्विक CEO शामिल हैं। इस शिखर सम्मेलन का मुख्य उद्देश्य नवाचार, स्थिरता और प्रौद्योगिकी का उपयोग करके लचीली, समावेशी और भविष्य के लिए तैयार सरकारें बनाना है।

 4. The sixth Badminton Asia Team Championships have commenced in Qingdao, China. Featuring Asia's top men's and women's teams, the tournament kicked off in Qingdao. The Indian women's team, the defending champions, is competing in Group Y (against Thailand and Myanmar); the team includes Tanvi Sharma, Unnati Hooda, Malvika Bansod, and others. The Indian men's team (comprising players like Sen, Prannoy, and Srikanth) is placed in Group C with Japan and Singapore, where they are vying for the continental title.

  5. Central Bank of India has partnered with HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited to distribute HSBC mutual fund products, providing customers with a wider range of investment options. The aim is to help Central Bank's customers make the most of their savings through expert-managed mutual fund solutions. Central Bank of India was founded on December 21, 1911, and is headquartered in Mumbai.

 सेंट्रल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने HSBC एसेट मैनेजमेंट (इंडिया) प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के साथ साझेदारी की है ताकि HSBC म्यूचुअल फंड उत्पादों का वितरण किया जा सके, जिससे ग्राहकों को निवेश के व्यापक विकल्प मिल सकें। इसका उद्देश्य सेंट्रल बैंक के ग्राहकों को विशेषज्ञ-प्रबंधित म्यूचुअल फंड समाधानों के माध्यम से बचत का अधिक लाभ उठाने में सहायता करना है। सेंट्रल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया की स्थापना 21 दिसंबर 1911 को हुई थी और इसका मुख्यालय मुंबई में है।

 6. On the historic occasion of its Golden Jubilee (50 years), Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB), in collaboration with its sponsor bank Punjab National Bank (PNB), has achieved a significant milestone by launching India's first Regional Rural Bank (RRB) co-branded RuPay credit card. For decades, RRBs have primarily been limited to basic banking services such as deposits and loans. The introduction of credit cards marks a major transformation in the service structure of RRBs, bringing them in line with modern banking practices and customer expectations. Tripura Gramin Bank, like all other RRBs, was established with the objective of catering to the banking and credit needs of rural areas.

अपने स्वर्ण जयंती (50 वर्ष) के ऐतिहासिक अवसर पर त्रिपुरा ग्रामीण बैंक (TGB) ने अपने प्रायोजक बैंक पंजाब नेशनल बैंक (PNB) के सहयोग से भारत का पहला क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंक (RRB) सह-ब्रांडेड रुपे क्रेडिट कार्ड लॉन्च कर एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि हासिल की है।दशकों तक आरआरबी मुख्य रूप से जमा और ऋण जैसी बुनियादी बैंकिंग सेवाओं तक सीमित रहे हैं। क्रेडिट कार्ड की शुरुआत आरआरबी की सेवा संरचना में एक बड़ा परिवर्तन है, जो उन्हें आधुनिक बैंकिंग प्रथाओं और ग्राहकों की अपेक्षाओं के अनुरूप बनाता है।त्रिपुरा ग्रामीण बैंक, अन्य सभी आरआरबी की तरह, ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की बैंकिंग और ऋण आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के उद्देश्य से स्थापित किया गया था।

  7.  The Election Commission of India will host the National Conference of State Election Commissioners on February 24, 2026.  State Election Commissioners from all states and Union Territories of the country are expected to participate in this conference. The conference will be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This National SEC Conference is being held after a gap of more than 25 years. The last such conference was held in 1999. Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi, will preside over the conference and address the State Election Commissioners at the inaugural session.

 भारत निर्वाचन आयोग 24 फरवरी, 2026 को राज्य निर्वाचन आयुक्तों  के राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन की मेजबानी करेगा। देश के सभी राज्यों/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के राज्य निर्वाचन आयुक्तों के इस सम्मेलन में भाग लेने की संभावना है। यह सम्मेलन नई दिल्ली के भारत मंडपम में आयोजित किया जाएगा। राष्ट्रीय एसईसी सम्मेलन 25 वर्षों से अधिक के अंतराल के बाद आयोजित किया जा रहा है। पिछला ऐसा सम्मेलन वर्ष 1999 में हुआ था। मुख्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त श्री ज्ञानेश कुमार, निर्वाचन आयुक्त डॉ. सुखबीर सिंह संधू और डॉ. विवेक जोशी के साथ सम्मेलन की अध्यक्षता करेंगे और उद्घाटन समारोह में राज्य निर्वाचन आयुक्तों को संबोधित करेंगे।

 8. Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will host the MAHE Global Health Summit 2026 in Manipal. It will also host the World Health Summit Academic Alliance and the Lancet Commission on Academic Responsibility in Dubai. The summit's primary focus is on evidence-based global health policy and academic responsibility. Its goal is to reshape the global health dialogue and strengthen evidence-based policymaking.

मणिपाल एकेडमी ऑफ हायर एजुकेशन (MAHE) मणिपाल में MAHE ग्लोबल हेल्थ समिट 2026 की मेजबानी करेगा। यह दुबई में वर्ल्ड हेल्थ समिट एकेडमिक एलायंस और लैंसेट कमीशन ऑन एकेडमिक रिस्पॉन्सिबिलिटी की भी मेजबानी करने जा रहा है। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य साक्ष्य-आधारित वैश्विक स्वास्थ्य नीति और अकादमिक उत्तरदायित्व पर केंद्रित है। इसका लक्ष्य वैश्विक स्वास्थ्य संवाद को नया रूप देना और साक्ष्य-आधारित नीति को मजबूत करना है।

 9. The National Statistical Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) will conduct a survey on migration from July 2026 to June 2027 to obtain updated and comprehensive migration data. The survey will cover rural-urban and inter-state migration, its causes, return and seasonal migration, and migrant employment profiles. The Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) 2020-21 recorded a migration rate of 28.9%, with women migrating primarily due to marriage and men due to employment. The National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO) was established by the Government of India in 1950 with the primary objective of collecting data through socio-economic surveys across the country; later, on May 23, 2019, it was merged with the Central Statistics Office (CSO) to form the National Statistical Office (NSO).

 MoSPI के अंतर्गत NSO जुलाई 2026 से जून 2027 तक प्रवासन पर एक सर्वेक्षण आयोजित करेगा ताकि अद्यतन और व्यापक प्रवासन डेटा प्राप्त किया जा सके।सर्वेक्षण में ग्रामीण-शहरी और अंतर-राज्यीय प्रवासन, इसके कारण, वापसी और मौसमी प्रवासन तथा प्रवासी रोजगार प्रोफाइल शामिल होंगे। PLFS 2020-21 में 28.9% प्रवासन दर दर्ज की गई, जिसमें महिलाओं का प्रवासन मुख्य रूप से विवाह के कारण और पुरुषों का प्रवासन रोजगार के कारण हुआ। राष्ट्रीय नमूना सर्वेक्षण संगठन (NSSO) की स्थापना 1950 में भारत सरकार द्वारा की गई थी, जिसका मुख्य उद्देश्य देश भर में सामाजिक-आर्थिक सर्वेक्षण करके आंकड़े एकत्र करना था; बाद में 23 मई 2019 को इसे केंद्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालय (CSO) के साथ मिलाकर राष्ट्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालय (NSO) का गठन किया
