- Typing Test: Qualifying for LDC/JSA/JPA.
- Skill Test: Qualifying for DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’.
- Merely securing the minimum qualifying marks does not guarantee allocation.
4. SSC CHSL Final FRTA Allocation 2025-26

*Horizontal-category vacancies are already included within their respective vertical categories and should not be added again to the total.
Final Cut-Off Rule
There is no single common final cut-off for UR, OBC, EWS, SC or ST. The final cut-off varies according to:
Factor | Final Allocation Impact |
|---|---|
Tier-II marks | Primary merit score |
Post preference | Determines the post considered |
Department preference | Determines department allocation |
Category | Determines applicable vacancy |
Post eligibility | Candidate must fulfil conditions |
Available vacancies | Changes the last-selected marks |
CKT/Typing/Skill Test | Candidate must qualify |
Tie-breaking | Tier-II Section-I → Tier-I marks → older age |
The final cut-off shown by SSC is therefore the Tier-II score of the last provisionally allocated candidate for each department, post and category, not one common category-wise score.
SSC CHSL Cut Off 2024
SSC’s official Tier-I result write-up dated 6 September 2024 surfaced directly in search results, and the official final result write-up dated 17 February 2025 also surfaced. Those are the strongest official sources available for 2024.

The 2024 official Tier-I write-up makes the trend very clear: DEO had a much sharper merit threshold than LDC/JSA, and UR, OBC, and EWS were identical at 176.27042 for DEO/DEO Grade A.

SSC’s official final result write-up for CHSLE 2024 surfaced with the key cut-off standards used in the skill-test stage.

For students, this is the most important Tier-II takeaway: Tier-II is not just “qualified/not qualified”; SSC applies separate category-wise standards for CKT and separate error thresholds in Typing Test/DEST.
SSC CHSL Cut Off 2023
The official final result write-up for CHSLE 2023 surfaced directly and confirms that the Tier-I result had been declared on 27.09.2023, with 17,495 candidates shortlisted in the LDC/JSA stream before the final stage. It also confirms that the Commission fixed category-wise cut-offs in the skill test.
2023 Tier-I: LDC/JSA
The following Tier-I table is the commonly reproduced post-wise data for the 27 September 2023 result. I was able to verify the result date and final-write-up context directly from SSC, but the separate 2023 Tier-I PDF itself did not surface directly in the search tool.

2023 Final / Tier-II skill standards
The official 2023 final result write-up surfaced with the statement that the Commission fixed category-wise cut-offs in the skill test and carried the final-stage post-allotment cut-off details.
For students, the 2023 pattern is very similar to 2024: LDC/JSA remained the broader pool, while CAG/DCA and other higher-merit post groups stayed much closer to 170 for UR/OBC/EWS.
SSC CHSL Cut Off 2022
For 2022, the search surfaced both the official Tier-I result write-up dated 19 May 2023 and the official final result write-up dated 7 August 2023 from SSC’s older ssc.nic.in document server. That makes 2022 one of the best-documented cycles in the tool results.
2022 Tier-I
Category | Cut Off Marks | Candidates Available |
|---|---|---|
UR | 157.72984 | 5496* |
SC | 135.46972 | 7414 |
ST | 125.79702 | 3189 |

PwD-Other | 83.24763 | 255 |

The official Tier-I write-up also notes that, beyond the listed UR candidates, additional candidates from reserved categories were available at the UR cut-off.
2022 Final result
The surfaced official final result write-up confirms that Tier-I was declared on 19.05.2023, an additional Tier-I result was declared on 02.06.2023, and Tier-II was conducted on 26.06.2023.
The direct post-category final cut-off table for 2022 did not appear in the search snippet itself, so I am not inventing those figures here. The important verified official point is that SSC issued a separate final-result write-up after Tier-II for the 2022 cycle.
Clean comparison: what students should actually remember
If you are reading only for exam strategy, the clearest pattern across the surfaced official and cross-checked data is this: LDC/JSA cut-off is consistently lower than DEO or other specialized CHSL post groups, and UR/OBC/EWS often cluster very closely together in the higher-merit lists.
A second major pattern is that Tier-II/final stage cannot be understood from Tier-I marks alone. SSC applies separate qualifying standards in CKT and separate permissible error thresholds in Typing Test/DEST, which is why many candidates clear Tier-I but still miss final selection.
