Goa | Havaldar-Customs | 135.64854 |

These cut-offs should not be treated as one common national cut-off because the vacancies, competition and candidate preferences differ across CCAs.
Why SSC MTS and Havaldar Cut-Offs Differ by CCA
Candidates were considered only for those post-cum-CCAs selected in their online application forms. Therefore, the Havaldar cut-off varies according to:
- Number of vacancies under the concerned CCA
- Number of candidates selecting that CCA
- Performance of eligible candidates
- Category-wise reservation
- Difficulty level across shifts
- Normalized marks
- The official 1:7 shortlisting ratio
As a result, two candidates with similar normalized marks may receive different qualifying outcomes depending on their categories and post-cum-CCA preferences.
SSC MTS Result 2025-26 Normalization Rule
The SSC MTS and Havaldar CBE was conducted in multiple shifts. SSC therefore normalized candidates’ raw marks according to the formula published by the Commission on 2 June 2025.
Normalization adjusts candidates’ scores to account for differences in difficulty levels across examination shifts.
For Havaldar shortlisting:
- Qualifying Session I was compulsory.
- Normalized Session-II marks were used to prepare the shortlist.
- Candidates were considered only for their selected post-cum-CCAs.
- Candidates were shortlisted in a 1:7 ratio against vacancies.
Candidates should compare their normalized score—not merely their raw score—with the applicable official cut-off.
SSC MTS Result 2025-26 Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more candidates secured equal aggregate normalized marks in Session II, SSC resolved the tie by applying the following criteria in order:
- Higher normalized marks in General Awareness of Session II
- Higher total normalized marks in Session I
- Earlier date of birth, with the older candidate receiving preference
- Alphabetical order of candidates’ names
The next criterion was used only if the tie remained unresolved under the previous criterion.
