The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the SSC JHT Result 2025 for Paper 2 of the Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2025 on 04 June 2026. Candidates who appeared in the descriptive Paper 2 examination can now check the latest result update released by the Commission.

As per the official notification, a total of 1,722 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for the post of Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF based on their performance in Paper 2.

The SSC JHT Examination is conducted for recruitment to the posts of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Senior Hindi Translator (SHT), Senior Translator, and Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) in various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Government of India.

SSC JHT Result 2025 Latest Update

The SSC had earlier declared the result of Paper 1 on 04 November 2025, through which 3,642 candidates were shortlisted for Paper 2. The descriptive Paper 2 examination was conducted on 14 December 2025 across various examination centres.

After evaluating Paper 2 answer sheets, SSC has now released the list of candidates shortlisted for the next stage of recruitment for the post of Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF.

Candidates shortlisted in this stage will have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) conducted by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

SSC JHT PET/PST 2025

Candidates who opted for the post of Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF in their online application form and have secured the required cut-off marks have been shortlisted for PET/PST.

Important Notice for PwBD Candidates

As per SSC recruitment rules, the post of Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF has not been identified suitable for PwBD candidates.

Therefore, PwBD candidates who appeared in Paper 2 and opted for CRPF have not been shortlisted for PET/PST.

What Happens After PET/PST?

Candidates qualifying the PET/PST stage will be considered for final selection to the post of Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF.

Candidates who fail PET/PST will not be considered for the CRPF post. However, their candidature for other translator posts included in the examination will remain valid if they qualify the respective stages.

The final result for all posts under the Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2025 will be declared after completion of the PET/PST process.

SSC JHT Option-cum-Preference Form

SSC has also informed candidates that an Option-cum-Preference Window will be opened before declaration of the final result.

Candidates must submit their post preferences within the stipulated period.

Important:

Failure to submit post preferences during the designated window will result in candidates not being considered for any post in the final result.
