The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CPO Notification 2026 on 10 September 2026. Online applications are open from 10 September to 30 September 2026.

The last time to submit the application is 11:00 PM on 30 September 2026, while online fee payment can be completed until 11:00 PM on 1 October 2026.

SSC will open the application correction window from 8 October to 10 October 2026. The dates for Paper-I, PST/PET, Paper-II, medical examination and results have not yet been announced.

SSC has advised candidates not to wait until the last date. Heavy website traffic, payment delays, internet problems or login failures may prevent last-minute submission.

SSC CPO Fee-Payment Last Date 2026

The application fee can be paid until 11:00 PM on 1 October 2026.

Important Fee-Payment Rule

Candidates who are not exempted must ensure that the payment is successful. If SSC does not receive the fee, the application may appear as “Incomplete” and can be rejected.

Candidates should check the payment status through their SSC login instead of depending only on a bank debit message.

SSC CPO Application Correction Dates 2026

The SSC CPO correction window will remain open from 8 October to 10 October 2026.

Who Can Use the Correction Window?

Only candidates whose completed applications, including the applicable fee payment, were received within the original application period can make corrections.

Important Correction Rules

• A candidate can correct and resubmit the application a maximum of two times.
• The latest successfully submitted application will be treated as valid.
• The previous version will be cancelled after successful resubmission.
• Correction charges apply to all candidates, irrespective of gender or category.
• Correction charges are non-refundable.
• After 11:00 PM on 10 October 2026, no change will be accepted.
• Requests through email, post, fax or personal representation will not be entertained.

Candidates should carefully preview every field before resubmitting the corrected application.

SSC CPO Exam Date 2026

The official date for the SSC CPO Computer-Based Examination has not yet been announced.

Candidates should not treat unofficial social-media posts or tentative coaching schedules as confirmed examination dates.

SSC CPO Admit Card Date 2026

SSC refers to the admit card as the Admission Certificate.

Important Admit-Card Instructions

• SSC will not send the admit card by post.
• Candidates must download it from the concerned SSC website.
• A printed copy must be carried to the examination centre.
• Candidates should regularly check SSC and regional websites.
• If examination details are unavailable one week before the exam, the candidate should contact the concerned SSC regional office immediately.

SSC is expected to upload candidates’ examination timetable and city/centre information approximately 10 days before the examination.
