RBI Assistant Syllabus 2026-27 and Exam Pattern for Prelims & Mains

The Reserve Bank of India conducts the RBI Assistant Examination every year to recruit eligible candidates for Assistant posts across various RBI offices in India. Phase 1: Preliminary Examination

Phase 3: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates qualifying the Mains Examination are called for the Language Proficiency Test.

Candidates must be proficient in the official/local language of the RBI office they apply for.

Candidates failing to qualify the Language Proficiency Test may be disqualified.
