SBI PO Result 2026 Out

The State Bank of India has published the SBI PO Prelims Result 2026 PDF containing the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the Mains examination. The document is officially titled “Result of the Preliminary Examination – Roll Numbers of Candidates Shortlisted for Main Examination.”

Although candidates frequently search for the document as the “SBI PO Merit List 2026”, the PDF does not contain names, marks or category-wise cut-offs. It contains only the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates.

The result PDF lists 15,802 shortlisted candidates. The official notification states that approximately ten times the number of vacancies may be shortlisted category-wise for the Mains examination.

Shortlisting remains subject to:

  • Fulfilment of the eligibility conditions prescribed in the notification.
  • Correctness of the information submitted during registration.
  • Verification of the candidate’s documents at the applicable stage.

The result PDF is sufficient to confirm whether a candidate has qualified. The scorecard and cut-off will help candidates analyse their performance after SBI activates the marks-display utility.

SBI PO Scorecard 2026

The SBI PO Prelims Scorecard 2026 has not been activated yet. SBI has officially stated that the marks-display utility is under process.

Once released, candidates will likely need the following information to check their marks:

  • Registration number or roll number
  • Date of birth or password
  • Captcha/security code

The scorecard is expected to display the candidate’s marks, overall qualifying status and the applicable category-wise cut-off. Candidates should download the scorecard when the official link becomes active.

SBI PO Cut Off 2026

The official SBI PO Prelims Cut Off 2026 has not yet been released. It is expected to become available with the individual marks or scorecard utility.

SBI prepares a category-wise merit list using the aggregate marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination. There is no sectional cut-off in SBI PO Prelims 2026. Candidates are shortlisted based on their overall aggregate score and category-wise ranking.

SBI PO Expected Cut Off 2026

The following ranges are Mahendras’ estimates based on the examination level, vacancy count, previous cut-off trends and reported attempts. These are not official qualifying marks.

Factors Affecting SBI PO Cut Off 2026

The category-wise cut-off may be influenced by:

  • Number of candidates who appeared
  • Total vacancies and category-wise vacancies
  • Difficulty level of different examination shifts
  • Overall accuracy and performance of candidates
  • Normalisation across multiple shifts
  • Category-wise shortlisting ratio

Candidates should not calculate their chances solely from attempted questions. Incorrect answers attract a penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question.
