Latest update (verified 14 September 2026): SBI PO Mains Result 2026 has not been released. The Main Examination was held on 12 September 2026. SBI's official recruitment page currently shows the Main Exam call-letter and information-handout entries for Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09, but no Main Result link. As of 14 September 2026, SBI has not announced the Phase-II result for the 2026 recruitment. Candidates should not trust pages, messages or thumbnails that claim “Result Out” without a live result link under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09 on SBI's official careers portal. SBI's detailed advertisement gives September/October 2026 only as a tentative result window; it does not announce a fixed result date.

The official result may first appear as a shortlist PDF, a candidate-login facility, or both. Mahendra's will replace the status above with the direct official link, release time and download instructions only after the SBI entry becomes live.

Important: Except for the completed examination dates, later months above are the tentative schedule printed by SBI. The final date, reporting time and venue will be those shown in the relevant official notice or call letter.

When SBI releases the result, candidates can use this verified process:

1. Open SBI's Recruitment Results or Current Openings page.

2. Find “Recruitment of Probationary Officers” with Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09.

3. Select the Main Examination Result or Marks Secured link displayed by SBI.

4. If SBI provides a PDF, search for the roll number exactly as printed on the call letter. If SBI uses candidate login, enter only the credentials requested on the official SBI/IBPS-hosted page.

5. Save the result and keep the registration number, roll number and application documents ready for Phase III.

SBI's exact 2026 result format will be known only at release. In recent recruitment cycles, SBI has used a result/shortlist entry followed by a marks facility. Candidates should therefore check the official page for:

• Advertisement number and recruitment cycle.

• Roll number or qualifying status for Phase III.

• Separate marks/scorecard link, if released.

• Phase-III call-letter or schedule notice.

• Instructions issued specifically for shortlisted candidates.

Do not treat an expected cut-off as the official cut-off. The official qualifying marks and scorecard should be labelled “official” only after SBI publishes them.

The 2026 notification requires every candidate to obtain the minimum score in each Main Examination test—Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General Awareness/Economy/Banking Knowledge, English Language and the Descriptive Paper—along with the category-wise minimum aggregate score decided by SBI.

Subject to these qualifying conditions, SBI will prepare a category-wise merit list from Phase-II marks. Candidates numbering approximately three times the category-wise vacancies may be shortlisted for Phase III. This is an approximate maximum stated in the notification, not a guaranteed fixed count.

SBI may conduct the Psychometric Test in proctored mode or at identified examination centres. Candidates must follow the mode, date and instructions printed in the official Phase-III communication.

Preliminary Examination marks are not added to the final merit list. SBI converts the 230 marks of Phase II—200 objective plus 30 descriptive—to 75 marks. The 50 marks of Group Exercise and Interview are converted to 25 marks. The final merit list is prepared out of 100 after adding the converted Phase-II and Phase-III scores.

• Prepare a truthful 60–90 second personal introduction and review graduation/work-experience basics.

• Revise SBI, RBI, banking products, digital payments, recent monetary-policy developments and major economic issues.

• Practise honest and internally consistent responses for personality-style questions.

• Keep the submitted application printout, identity proof and category/eligibility certificates organised; the final checklist must follow the call letter.

• Track only SBI's careers portal and verified Mahendra's updates for the result and call letter.
