SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification Out for 7150 Posts, Apply Online from 19 May

The State Bank of India has officially released the SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification for 7,150 Apprentice vacancies across various states and union territories in India. The recruitment is being conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 through Advertisement No. CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07.

Eligible graduates can submit the SBI Apprentice Online Form 2026 from 19 May 2026 to 8 June 2026 through the official SBI careers portal. Candidates selected as apprentices will undergo one year of apprenticeship training in SBI branches across India.

SBI has announced a total of 7,150 Apprentice vacancies for the 2026-27 recruitment cycle.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute recognized by the Government of India.

The age limit will be calculated as on 30 April 2026.

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government of India rules:

• SC/ST – 5 Years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 Years
• PwBD – 10 to 15 Years
• Ex-Servicemen – As per rules

The SBI Apprentice Recruitment selection process includes the following stages:

  SBI Apprentice Exam Syllabus and Pattern

Candidates selected under the State Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will receive a fixed monthly stipend of ₹15,000 during the entire apprenticeship period. The stipend will be paid directly by SBI as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Apprentices engaged through this recruitment will not be entitled to additional employee benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), medical facilities, pension benefits, leave encashment, or other allowances available to regular SBI employees. The apprenticeship program is primarily intended to provide practical banking exposure, industry training, and skill development opportunities to graduates.

The duration of the SBI Apprentice training program will be one year. During this period, selected candidates will work in designated SBI branches and receive hands-on experience in banking operations, customer handling, and financial services.

SBI has clearly stated in the official notification that completion of the apprenticeship training does not guarantee permanent employment in the bank. Candidates will not have any automatic claim for regular appointment after the training period concludes.
