When Will the SSC CGL Tier 2 Result Be Declared?

SSC has not announced a result date. A credible timeline can begin only after the exact Tier-II schedule is issued and the examination is completed. The Commission may first publish a tentative answer key and response-sheet facility, accept representations within the specified window, process final answers and then publish the relevant result or final-result notice.

Search results, social posts and unofficial countdowns are not proof of declaration. A result should be treated as released only when a notice or PDF is available through the official SSC portal.

How to Check the Tier-II Result

  1. Open SSC’s official result portal.
  2. Locate the notice clearly referring to Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 and the relevant Tier-II or subsequent outcome.
  3. Open the result write-up before opening any name or roll-number list. The write-up explains the cut-off, qualifying rules and next action.
  4. Search the PDF with the exact roll number or name format used by SSC.
  5. Save the result PDF, write-up and later scorecard for future document verification.

How SSC CGL Tier-II Merit Is Evaluated

Tier-II is the principal merit-deciding stage. Paper-I is compulsory for all candidates shortlisted for Tier-II. Its merit-scoring modules cover Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning and General Intelligence, English Language and Comprehension, and General Awareness. Computer Knowledge Test and DEST are qualifying components, subject to the detailed standards and exemptions prescribed by SSC.

Paper-II is relevant for candidates shortlisted for Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade-II. Paper-III applies to the specified audit and accounts posts under the 2026 scheme. A candidate’s result must therefore be read with the post applied for, paper eligibility, module-wise qualification and post-preference requirements.

Raw Marks, Final Answer Key and Scorecard

The result PDF and the individual scorecard serve different purposes. A result list identifies the candidates or outcome described in the notice. The scorecard generally displays individual marks when SSC opens the marks facility. The final answer key explains the answers used for evaluation after objections have been processed. Candidates should download each item during its availability period.

Do not calculate a final selection position from a tentative answer key alone. SSC’s evaluation may reflect accepted objections, qualifying-module standards, post-specific paper requirements and the selection rules stated in the result write-up.

Tier-II Cut-Off: What It Means

The official cut-off is not a single universal number. It can vary by category, post or list, applicable paper and vacancy position. Minimum qualifying marks mentioned in the notification are thresholds; they are not automatically the competitive cut-off needed for a particular post.

Until SSC publishes the official result write-up, any number shown as a 2026-27 “official cut-off” is incorrect. Expected ranges may help with planning but must always be labeled estimates based on paper difficulty, vacancies and previous trends.

SSC may combine or sequence notices differently in a particular cycle. Candidates must follow the title and scope of the official PDF rather than assuming that every “mains result” notice is the final allocation.

What to Do After the Result

If shortlisted or selected, download every official PDF, submit option-cum-preference within the prescribed window if pending, and prepare original documents. Verify educational qualification, category or EWS certificate, age-relaxation proof and post-specific physical or medical standards where applicable. Document verification is conducted by the allocated user department under the process specified by SSC.

If the roll number is not found, first check the correct list and category, then read the result write-up and wait for the marks facility. A scorecard helps identify the actual performance; an unofficial rank calculator does not replace SSC’s result.
