Is Class 12 Mathematics Compulsory for SSC CHSL?
No, Mathematics in Class 12 is not compulsory for every SSC CHSL post.
It is compulsory only for DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts in:
- Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution;
- Staff Selection Commission; and
- Ministry of Culture.
For LDC/JSA and other DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts, candidates only need to pass Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.
