If the direct login does not open, visit the official IBPS CRP PO/MT-XVI page and select its preliminary result link. Make sure the page says XVI, the 2026 recruitment cycle.

Cycle clarification: Candidates commonly search for this examination as IBPS PO 2026 or IBPS PO 2026–27. The official notification identifies it as CRP PO/MT-XVI for vacancies of 2027–28. Do not confuse it with CRP PO/MT-XV, the previous recruitment cycle.

Read our IBPS PO 2026 notification guide for the recruitment rules and selection process.

The result link is for individual candidate login. Check the status displayed for your own registration or roll number. Do not rely on a third-party page claiming to provide a public merit-list PDF unless IBPS publishes one.

1. Visit the official IBPS website.
2. Open the CRP PO/MTs section.
3. Select Probationary Officers / Management Trainees XVI.
4. Click the link for the Online Preliminary Examination Result.
5. Enter your registration number or roll number.
6. Enter your password or date of birth in the format requested on the login screen.
7. Complete the captcha and submit your details.
8. Check your qualifying status and save or print the result screen.

If the website is busy, retry after a short interval through the official XVI recruitment page. The application-print portal and the old PO/MT-XV result link are not substitutes for the 2026 result login.

After logging in, verify the information displayed by IBPS, especially:

• Your name and registration or roll number;
• The recruitment cycle, CRP PO/MT-XVI;
• Your preliminary examination qualifying status; and
• Any instructions concerning the next stage.

The preliminary result establishes whether a candidate has been shortlisted for Mains. Marks and cutoff details may be displayed separately through a scorecard facility.

The result status and scorecard should be treated as separate updates unless IBPS displays both together. When IBPS activates the 2026 scorecard link, candidates should check their section-wise marks, overall score and applicable cutoff directly on the official portal.

Do not mistake the preliminary result login for the scorecard link. Save the result status now and check the IBPS PO/MT-XVI page for a separate scorecard notice.

IBPS PO Prelims cutoff marks can differ by category and by section. The official 2026 cutoff figures should be added only after IBPS publishes them. Expected cutoff estimates and previous-year marks are not the official qualifying marks for CRP PO/MT-XVI.

For historical comparison, read the IBPS PO previous-year cutoff guide. Keep each recruitment year clearly labelled when comparing figures.

Candidates shortlisted in the preliminary examination move to the IBPS PO Mains exam scheduled for 4 October 2026. IBPS will issue individual Mains call letters containing the examination venue, reporting time and instructions.

Prelims is a shortlisting stage. Prelims marks are not added to the final merit score. Under the CRP PO/MT-XVI selection process, candidates shortlisted after Mains proceed to a mandatory Personality Test and then the Common Interview, subject to the official rules.
