SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card 2026-27

Latest verified update (14 September 2026): The SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card 2026-27 has not been released. SSC has scheduled Tier-I from 30 September to 30 October 2026, while Tier-II is tentatively scheduled for December 2026. The exact Tier-II date, city-details schedule and admit-card release date are still awaited.

The Staff Selection Commission will issue the SSC CGL Tier-II admission certificate only for candidates permitted to appear in the second stage. Candidates should rely on ssc.gov.in and the notice or login facility linked there. This page will be updated after an official notice; it will not show an unverified “out” claim merely because a tentative date is circulating.

SSC has not announced a confirmed admit-card date. The admission certificate is normally made available close to the examination after the exam schedule and city information are issued. Because the current official notification mentions only a tentative Tier-II month, any precise release date shown before an SSC notice should be treated as unofficial.

The dependable sequence is: Tier-I examination, Tier-I result or shortlisting, confirmed Tier-II schedule, city or centre information where provided, and then the admission certificate. Candidates should not confuse an examination-city intimation with the final admit card. The city notice helps with travel planning; the admission certificate is the document used for entry to the examination.

The Tier-II admission certificate is meant for candidates who satisfy SSC’s shortlisting and eligibility conditions for the second stage. Paper-I is compulsory for all candidates shortlisted for Tier-II. Paper-II applies to candidates shortlisted for Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade-II posts. Paper-III applies only where SSC’s 2026 examination scheme and post-specific shortlisting require the Finance and Economics paper.

A candidate should verify the paper, post eligibility and scheduled session printed on the admission certificate. Merely possessing a registration number does not establish eligibility for every Tier-II paper.

1. Open the official SSC website and use the candidate login or admission-certificate link displayed for CGL 2026.
2. Enter the registration number or roll number and the other credential requested by SSC.
3. Open the CGL Tier-II admission-certificate section and confirm that the examination year and stage are correct.
4. Check the candidate name, photograph, roll number, date, reporting time, examination centre, paper and session.
5. Download the PDF and print clear copies. Keep an offline copy because the portal may be busy near the examination.

SSC can change the login route or labels in its portal. Therefore, candidates should follow the current official screen instead of relying on an old regional-website tutorial.

After downloading the document, verify the candidate’s name, photograph, signature, roll number, registration number, date of birth, category where shown, examination name, paper or session, exam date, reporting time, gate-closing time, examination-centre address and exam-day instructions. Read every page of the admission certificate because identity-document rules and prohibited items may be listed separately.

If a material detail is incorrect, preserve a screenshot or PDF, compare it with the submitted application and contact SSC through the channel mentioned on the portal. Do not edit the PDF yourself.

Paper-I is conducted in two sessions on the same day. Candidates must follow the exact reporting and session instructions printed on their admission certificate. Computer Knowledge and DEST are qualifying components, but failure to appear or qualify as required can affect selection.

Carry a printed admission certificate and the original photo-identity document required by SSC. Also carry recent photographs or supporting date-of-birth proof if the admission-certificate instructions ask for them. Reach the centre before the reporting and gate-closing time. Electronic devices, study material and prohibited objects should not be carried. The allotted date, shift and centre are not matters candidates should assume can be changed on request.

2. Check the registration number and the date format requested by the portal.
3. Try a current browser, clear the specific site cache, disable unnecessary extensions and use a stable connection.
4. If the portal is busy, wait briefly and retry; do not create a new application.
5. If the record remains unavailable despite confirmed eligibility, contact SSC with the application number and saved evidence.

Complete Tier-II preparation now instead of waiting for the admit card. Practise Paper-I with sectional timers, revise the Computer Knowledge module and perform regular DEST drills.
