IBPS Clerk Previous Year Cut Off: Official Source Guide
Cycle-wise guide to verified IBPS Clerk Prelims and Mains cut-off data
Understand IBPS Clerk previous year cut-offs by CRP cycle, stage, State/UT, category and score scale, with official archive links and verification rules.

Verification status: 16 September 2026
This page covers historical IBPS Clerk cut-offs only. The current CRP CSA XVI 2026–27 cut-off has not been released and is not presented here as official. Earlier numeric tables have been temporarily withdrawn because every State/UT, category, stage and score scale must be revalidated against an original IBPS result notice or scorecard before republication.
IBPS Clerk Previous Year Cut Off: What Students Must Compare
An IBPS Clerk cut-off is not one national number. A useful comparison needs six labels: the CRP cycle, exam year, result or allotment year, stage, State/UT and category. The score scale must also be stated. A Prelims qualifying cut-off should never be compared directly with a final or provisional-allotment minimum score.
Label | Why it matters |
|---|---|
CRP cycle | Identifies the exact IBPS recruitment, such as CSA XV or Clerks XIV. |
Stage | Separates Prelims qualification from the Mains/final allotment process. |
State/UT | Clerk/CSA recruitment is State/UT-specific; another state's number is not transferable. |
Category | UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST and PwBD figures must not be interchanged. |
Score scale | Prelims and official final/provisional-allotment scores can appear on different scales. |
Official source date | Shows whether the number came from the original result window, scorecard or later allotment notice. |
IBPS Clerk Cycle Map for Previous Cut-offs
Searches often use only a year, but IBPS notices use a CRP cycle and vacancy period. Use this map before opening or comparing any historical score.
Exam-year label | Official cycle | Vacancy cycle | Official archive |
|---|---|---|---|
2025 | CRP CSA XV | 2026–27 | |
2024 | CRP Clerks XIV | 2025–26 | |
2023 | CRP Clerks XIII | 2024–25 | |
2022 | CRP Clerks XII | 2023–24 | |
2021 | CRP Clerks XI | 2022–23 |
Why the Old Numeric Tables Are Not Displayed
Several earlier compilations repeated figures that could not be traced row by row to an original IBPS scorecard or official result document. Some State/category cells also conflicted across Mahendras pages. Repeating those values with a general disclaimer would still risk misleading students. The tables will be restored cycle by cycle only after each value has an official source, exact stage, category, State/UT and score scale.
A dash, blank cell or “NA” must never be interpreted as zero. It may mean that a value was not published, no vacancy existed for that category, or the original official record is unavailable. Those meanings are different and require source-level confirmation.
How IBPS Clerk Selection and Cut-offs Work
The official recruitment notification for the applicable cycle controls the selection process. Prelims is used for screening candidates for Mains. There is no interview for Clerk/Customer Service Associate recruitment. Provisional allotment depends on the official Mains/final score framework, eligibility and the notified State/UT and category conditions. A Local Language Proficiency Test or proof of local-language study may be required by the participating bank before joining, as provided in the official rules.
Official Verification Standard for Every Historical Table
A future verified table on this page will show its source immediately above the numbers. Each row must be supported by an IBPS-owned result notice, official scorecard display or preserved official-domain document. Agreement among coaching or exam-preparation sites may help identify a discrepancy, but it is not a substitute for the official source.
- Source title, official URL and date must be recorded.
- Cycle, exam stage and score scale must be explicit.
- Every State/UT and category label must match the source.
- Missing values must state “not published,” “not applicable” or “source unavailable” only when the source supports that label.
- Trend analysis may be created only from the verified input cells and must be labelled as Mahendras analysis.
How to Use Previous Cut-offs for Preparation
Historical cut-offs are context, not a guaranteed target. Use a verified cut-off to understand the level at which qualification occurred in a particular State/UT and category, then compare it with your timed mock performance. Record accuracy, time spent, unanswered questions and error type after each mock. Improve the weakest section while preserving accuracy in stronger sections.
Do not add an arbitrary margin and call it a “safe score.” Vacancies, candidate performance, paper difficulty and normalization can change the outcome from one cycle to another. A better preparation benchmark is consistent performance across several full-length mocks under the current official pattern.
Current and Expected Cut-off Intent Is Separate
This URL targets historical, source-verified previous-year cut-offs. It does not claim that the IBPS Clerk 2026–27 cut-off is released. For forecast queries, use the separate IBPS Clerk Expected Cut Off 2026–27 page, where every estimate must be labelled expected and non-official.
What Mahendras Will Add After Official Revalidation
The verified rebuild will be organized by CRP cycle, with separate Prelims and final/provisional-allotment tables. Each table will state the State/UT, category, score scale and exact official evidence. No value will be inferred from another year, another category or a competitor table.
Editorial correction: Updated 16 September 2026. Unverified numeric tables and the derived five-year trend were removed pending row-level official-source revalidation. The official archive map remains available so students can identify the correct historical cycle without mixing it with CSA XVI.
